President Obama may have a bit of a science problem on his hands. Having allowed politics to override the science on the edibility of Gulf seafood, President Obama may find himself eating his own words. The message here? Be patient and listen to the scientists before you do your photo-op and issue the final word on an unresolved scientific issue.
And now he’ll have the opposition attacking him for his mistake as can be seen here.
Summary:
When Obama mentioned that he had a “Battle Plan” to combat the crisis; who was the real enemy? At this point, it looks as if the American people are the enemy that these Battle Plans were drawn up for. How could our President tell us that the seafood is safe while at the same time knowing that it could be laced with oil and Corexit? It is well documented that a CIA front company has been spraying Corexit under the cover of night, a fact that Obama must be aware of. Eyewitness reports have even speculated that the dispersant may be falling into peoples backyards.
My message to President Obama: I love you, man, but listen to your science advisers not your public relations advisers.
